rachelSTK, my favorite west coast graff girl, was with me the past two events I was apart of (HARD SUMMER 2010 and HARD HALLOWEEN 2010) and just sent over some illustrations of her and the other girls with the pieces i painted on them at the events. its real fun to see my pieces redone in different styles by different artists. its pretty clear i think graffgirls who are talented are so badass. ♡
HARD SUMMER 2010:
[brinaSTK, sherraSTK, and herself from left to right]
backstage VIP both days. the shrine, Downtown Los Angeles. (day2 girls above) (day1 girls cominggg as well as video, and some footage of them dancing on stage for Tommy Lee).
-i was standing in line starving, waiting for some tea and a muffin when a girl behind me compliments my outfit. i believe i recognized her as literally a face in one of my crowd photos at this event and she says yup thats her :) and she shows me this picture on her phone of a canvas she is painting of ktSTK wearing my day of the dead piece i had done for the event. small world, talented fans haha.
painting in progress by lauren schatzel of ktSTK wearing my day of the dead piece at HARD Halloween 2010.
-quick painting from memory by sam mell of wendySTK and spencer walking through the massive amounts of empty waterbottles after the shrine was cleared out.
graffgirl art:
illustration done by my graff girl at the event, rachelSTK, of herself and the other girls wearing the pieces i painted on them for day 1.
